Harvard Suffers Postseason Heartbreak Deja Vu Against Brown, 59-52

When the Crimson took the court at Lavities Friday night, the team’s hopes were high following  last weekend’s gritty overtime win against Penn — which had kept Ivy Madness tantalizingly within reach — but ultimately fell to the Bear 59-52, in a loss which makes postseason qualification a challenging prospect.


Men’s Basketball Sinks Columbia, 90-82, Falls Away at Cornell, 75-60

Harvard came into its matchup with Cornell less than 24 hours after securing a hard fought 90-82 victory over Columbia at Levien Gymnasium in New York City. But the Big Red generated a second half-storm Saturday night to blow past the Crimson, 75-60, in the first back-to-back weekend of the Ivy season.


Men’s Basketball Takes Narrow Loss to Navy, 85-80, in Veterans Classic

Behind a career night from junior guard Austin Benigni, Navy sank the Harvard men’s basketball team, 85-80, on Friday night in Annapolis. Benigni scored a career high 34 points on 17-17 free throw shooting to hand the Crimson (1-1, 0-0 Ivy) its first loss of the season.
